A Thoughtful Approach to Every Estate Transition

Why Families Choose Parker Place

Unlike many traditional estate sale companies, Parker Place doesn’t believe every estate should be handled the same way. Every home, collection, timeline, and family is unique, which is why we begin by understanding your goals before recommending the best path forward.

Built on three generations of antiques expertise, we evaluate the home, its contents, market demand, and your priorities to develop a personalized estate liquidation strategy. Depending on your needs, that may include downsizing assistance, professional organizing, an in-home estate sale, an online estate auction, strategic consignment, direct purchasing, curated online sales, private collector placement, donation coordination, or final property preparation.

From the initial consultation through the final cleanout, Parker Place manages the process with one coordinated plan. We work directly with you and, when appropriate, coordinate trusted professionals on your behalf, eliminating the stress of juggling multiple vendors during an already significant life transition.

Estate Sales & Estate Liquidation Solutions

We help families navigate downsizing, relocation, probate, inherited property, and other major life transitions through thoughtful, fully managed estate liquidation solutions. From the initial consultation to the final property preparation, Parker Place provides expert guidance every step of the way.

No two estates are alike. After evaluating the home, its contents, your timeline, and current market demand, we recommend the selling strategy best suited to your unique circumstances. That may include a professionally staged in-home estate sale, an online estate auction, strategic consignment, direct purchasing, targeted online sales, private collector placement, or a customized combination of services designed to maximize value.

Built on three generations of antiques expertise, Parker Place looks beyond everyday household contents to identify exceptional antiques, artwork, collectibles, furnishings, and specialty items that may benefit from additional research, broader market exposure, or specialized placement.

Generations of Agricultural Experience

Our family’s connection to agriculture spans generations. We have owned our farm in Habersham County, Georgia, since 1911, and Brad brings 40 years of hands-on experience operating it. That practical background gives Parker Place a grounded understanding of farm equipment, implements, tools and the realities families face when transitioning a working farm or rural property.

In-person farm and equipment sales will be available in Central Alabama, with auction services planned as our capabilities expand in 2027.

Downsizing & Property Transition Services

Preparing a home for its next chapter often involves much more than selling its contents. Parker Place helps families thoughtfully navigate the entire transition by organizing household contents, identifying what should be kept, sold, donated, or removed, and developing a personalized plan that reflects each family’s goals and timeline.

Depending on your needs, our services may include downsizing assistance, home organizing, estate liquidation planning, donation coordination, cleanout management, removal of remaining household contents, and coordination with your Realtor or other trusted professionals to prepare the property for sale, transfer, or its next owner.

Every project begins with a personalized consultation. Following the estate evaluation, we’ll recommend the services and selling strategy best suited to your circumstances—whether that’s an in-home estate sale, an online estate auction, strategic consignment, direct purchasing, or a customized combination of solutions.

Consignment

When the Right Buyer Is Worth Waiting For

Not every item is best sold during the timeline of an estate sale or online auction. Some exceptional antiques, artwork, furnishings, decorative objects, and specialty collections deserve a more targeted, patient approach to maximize their value.

Through Parker Place’s consignment services, we thoughtfully match quality pieces with collectors and buyers through our curated online marketplace, trusted dealer relationships, private collector network, and other carefully selected sales channels across Alabama, Texas, and beyond.

When appropriate, consignment becomes one part of a customized estate liquidation strategy, helping ensure that distinctive pieces are presented to the right audience rather than simply sold within a traditional estate sale timeline.

Drawing on Brad’s lifelong experience in estate acquisitions and “picking,” along with decades of relationships throughout the antiques and estate industry, we source authentic furnishings, artwork, architectural salvage, vintage décor, and distinctive estate pieces from across the Southeast and beyond.

Whether you’re searching for a single statement piece, building a collection, or furnishing an entire home, we take the time to understand your vision and uncover pieces with character, craftsmanship, provenance, and lasting appeal.
